How to connect to the internet with InterCel Global on iOS?
After installing your InterCel Global (a process that should preferably be done in Brazil using the Super App connected to Wi‑Fi), you need to check your iOS device settings to connect to the internet. To do this:
- Your mobile device must be compatible with eSIM
- The device must be in the country you selected when purchasing the chip
❗️ Important: For the internet to work, it is essential to deactivate all active Brazilian lines. Keeping them enabled may interfere with the connection.
Then, follow the steps below:
- Access your Global Account by tapping the “🌎” icon and selecting “InterCel Global”
- Check the information of the chip that has already been installed
- In “Main actions,” click “How to connect to the internet”
- Choose your device’s operating system – iOS
Activation for iOS system
- Disable the physical SIM and activate the Global eSIM line: Go to Settings > Cellular > Select your eSIM line > Activate this line. For the physical SIM, deactivate it
- Check the ICCID of the eSIM installed on the device: Go to Settings > General > About > Scroll down and check whether the ICCID you received matches the number shown
- Set the network manually: Go to Settings > Cellular > Select your eSIM line > Network Selection > Turn off Automatic and select the network manually
- Enable Data Roaming and disable Limit IP Address Tracking: Go to Settings > Cellular > Select your eSIM line > Enable Data Roaming and disable Limit IP Address Tracking
- Check the APN: Go to Settings > Cellular > Select your eSIM line > Tap Cellular Data Network > Check whether the APN field is correct. You can verify it in the “how to connect to the internet” manual
All set!
