How to connect to the internet with InterCel Global on Pixel?
After installing your InterCel Global (a process that should preferably be done in Brazil using the Super App connected to Wi‑Fi), you need to check your Pixel device settings to connect to the internet. To do this:
- Your mobile device must be compatible with eSIM.
- The device must be in the country you selected when purchasing the chip.
❗️ Important: For the internet to work, it is essential to deactivate all active Brazilian lines. Keeping them enabled may interfere with the connection.
Then, follow the steps below:
- Access your Global Account by tapping the “🌎” icon and selecting “InterCel Global”
- Check the information of the chip that has already been installed
- Under “Main actions,” click “How to connect to the internet”
- Choose your device’s operating system — Pixel
How to connect to the internet on a Pixel:
- Enable the InterCel Global line: Go to Settings > SIMs > Select your InterCel Global line > Activate it. For your physical SIM, make sure to deactivate it to avoid conflicts.
- Check the ICCID of the eSIM installed on the device: On the phone dial pad, dial #06#. Make sure the ICCID displayed on your device matches the one you received.
- Check the network settings: Go to Settings > SIMs > Select your InterCel Global line > Turn off “Automatically Select.” Then go to Choose Network and select our recommended network.
- Enable data roaming: Go to Settings > SIMs > Select your InterCel Global line > Roaming > Toggle the switch ON.
- Check the APN: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Tap your InterCel Global line > Access Point Names (APN) and verify the APN field is correct. You can check the correct APN in the “how to connect to the internet” section in the app.
All set!
