What is a UCITS ETF?

A UCITS ETF is an exchange-traded fund designed for investors outside the United States. It allows you to invest in a diversified basket of assets, such as stocks and bonds, following European investor protection regulations. The acronym stands for Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities — a European regulatory framework created by the European Union to protect investors and allow funds to be marketed across multiple countries.
